Eleven Companies in Tolosaldea Receive Recognition for the Basque Country's Ethical Code

Four new businesses have obtained the certification for the first time, while seven others have renewed their commitment, highlighting the quality of the region's tourism offerings.

Eleven companies in Tolosaldea have received recognition for the Basque Country's Ethical Code for Tourism, with four new businesses obtaining certification for the first time and seven renewing their commitment, strengthening the region's diverse and innovative tourism offerings.

This year, four new companies have obtained the certification for the first time: Egurre climbing wall in Alegia, Oria Hotela in Tolosa, Tolosa Iparra Taproom, and Jo Topagunea. As reported by Tolosaldea Garatzen, this recognition reflects the broad and innovative tourism offerings in the region.
In addition, seven other companies in the region have renewed their commitment to the Basque Country's Ethical Code. These include the Fagus interpretation center in Alkiza, Iriarte restaurant in Berrobi, Ostatua in Orexa, Rafa Gorrotxategi, the Topic Museum, the Ur Mara Museum, and the Tolosaldea tourism office.

The Basque Country's Ethical Code for Tourism establishes fundamental principles for all tourism agents in the Basque Country to integrate responsibility and sustainability into their daily activities, based on respect and contribution to understanding.
