The Ibarra Town Hall has created a new pedestrian walkway in the garden of the Elduaran house, connecting Euskal Herria and Gaiarre streets and improving accessibility.

The Ibarra Town Hall has transformed the garden behind the Elduaran house into a new pedestrian promenade. The new walkway is now open and connects Euskal Herria street and Gaiarre street.
The project is part of the construction of new homes at number 25 Euskal Herria street. The garden of this house has become a public space after being handed over to the Town Hall by the company Ibarraberri S.L. upon completion of the works.
The walkway runs from the rear of number 27 Euskal Herria street to number 3 Gaiarre. Additionally, the area between numbers 25 and 27 Euskal Herria has been adapted as a pedestrian passage, with renovated stairs and updated lighting. The aim is to prevent vehicle access and increase pedestrian safety.
Alongside the accessible promenade, the area now includes a green space with trees, benches, and a fountain. New parking spaces have also been created.
Due to the upcoming San Bartolomé festivities, the Town Hall has announced that there will be temporary traffic changes on Euskal Herria street in the coming days. Starting Friday, traffic will be cut off at specific times for various parades and events, including the parade of giants and cabezudos, adult and children's drum parades, street theater, and the parade of 'cuadrillas'.
