The town of Anoeta will be filled with dance on Sunday for Dantzari Txiki Eguna, an event bringing together hundreds of children and young people to perform traditional Basque dances and new choreographies.

With the Korpus festivities approaching, the town of Anoeta is preparing to host Dantzari Txiki Eguna. The event will take place on Sunday, gathering hundreds of children and young people who will fill the town's streets with their dances.
The celebration will begin at 10:30 AM with a kalejira featuring four groups invited by Anoeta's Anitz Dantza group: Amets Bide from Ordizia, Alurr from Ibarra, Udaberri from Tolosa, and Murixka from Lezo. After dancing through the town's streets, they will have a snack break, and at 12:30 PM, they will offer the main performance in the square.
In the afternoon, starting at 6:00 PM, it will be the turn of the members of the Anitz Dantza group. Students of different ages will showcase both traditional Basque dances and new choreographies in the square.
Furthermore, preparations for the local festivities are also underway. On Tuesday, April 28, two meetings will be held in the Lasarbe hall. The first, at 5:15 PM, will be with parents to organize the children's lunch, and the second, at 6:00 PM, to form a new organizing team for the popular race.
