The trade unions ELA, LAB, and Steilas have called a demonstration for May 9 in Bilbao, under the slogan For the right to live and work in Euskera. The event will start at 5:30 PM from Jesusen Bihotza square. The Tolosaldea Euskaltzales Association Galtzaundi has arranged a bus service for residents of the region to attend. The deadline for registration is May 6, and the price is 15 euros (13 euros for Galtzaundi or Atari members). The bus will depart from Tolosa at 3:30 PM and return after the demonstration concludes.
Additionally, Galtzaundi has also organized buses for the Herri Urrats festival, which will take place on May 10 in Senpere. This is an excellent opportunity to travel from Tolosaldea, and Euskaltzales from the region will be able to go directly from Alegia, Amasa-Villabona, Anoeta, Ikaztegieta, Irura, Tolosa, and Zizurkil. Registration is open until May 6, and the price is 15 euros (13 euros for Galtzaundi and Atari members).
Buses will depart starting from 9:00 AM, and the return from Senpere will be at 7:00 PM. Departure points and times by locality are: Ikaztegieta (9:00 AM, Sports Center stop), Alegia (9:05 AM, Bideberrieta stop), Tolosa (9:10 AM, Santa Klara stop), Anoeta (9:15 AM, Apaetxe farmhouse), Irura (9:20 AM, in front of the Ikastola), and Amasa-Villabona (9:25 AM, Kale Berria 8 stop). It should be noted that as this is a journey between states, minors will need to meet certain conditions.
