Nora Beltrán de Otálora, Director of Food Quality and Promotion of the Basque Government, emphasized the importance of ensuring the viability of cheese and dairy production, strengthening the recognition of producers' work, and fostering generational succession.
The event also highlighted the need to bring artisan production closer to citizens, promote the origin and value of these foods, and leverage European cooperation to find solutions to the sector's common challenges.
