The festive calendar of the Lea Artibai region kicks off this Thursday in Berriatua with a youth txupinazo and a gababus service to ensure safe mobility.

The festivities in the Lea Artibai region will commence this Thursday in Berriatua with the youth txupinazo. The celebrations, known as Sangregorios, will continue with an ascent to Madalena and a communal meal. Afterwards, games between groups will take place, followed by rock music from ten o'clock at night.
On Saturday, sports will take center stage, while next Thursday will see the arrival of the local mascot, Kaxero. The following day, one of the first significant trips for the region's youth will be to attend rock concerts at half past ten at night.
To guarantee safe mobility for young people, the municipalities of Lea Artibai, along with those of Lea Ibarra, will launch the gababus service. The bus will depart at nine in the evening and return at three and five in the morning. Tickets, which must be purchased online, cost 5 euros for a single journey and one euro more if a return trip is included.
The night bus will run again on the night of Saturday, the 9th, for the main day of San Gregorio, which will feature a mass, a parade of giants, a communal meal, and a play-back contest as an after-dinner activity. The music of the electrocharanga Skapaie will maintain the atmosphere before giving way to the second night of concerts, concluding with a popular romería and a session with DJ Elepunto.
