Bizkaia Firefighters extinguished a fire in an abandoned house in Getxo's Ormaza neighborhood, where homeless individuals were staying, with no injuries reported in the incident that occurred early Sunday morning.

In the early hours of Sunday, Bizkaia Firefighters responded to and extinguished a fire in an abandoned dwelling located in the Ormaza neighborhood of Getxo. Although homeless individuals were staying inside the property, no injuries were reported during the incident.
Emergency services received an alert at 5:22 AM, reporting a house on fire in the Ormaza area, according to sources from the Provincial Council. Firefighters from the Artaza station were dispatched to the scene. By approximately seven o'clock in the morning, they had successfully brought the flames under control and declared the fire extinguished.
The ground floor of the residence was completely destroyed by the flames, which also extended to the first floor. The firefighters posted a video on their social media channels, showing the extent of the damage caused by the fire inside the home.
