Bilbao hosted the 2nd annual meeting of the Joint Action Mental Health Together – MENTOR project on September 29th and 30th, with 58 representatives from 10 European countries participating.

Biosistemak is leading the project's evaluation work package (WP3), crucial for measuring progress, analyzing activity impact, and ensuring solid evidence for mental health policy and intervention improvements.
MENTOR has achieved significant advancements, including the piloting of a European guide on 'Mental Health in All Policies', identifying effective interventions for youth and vulnerable groups, and designing strategies to reduce stigma.
The project promotes innovative solutions like the HappApp for emotional well-being and loneliness prevention, and a repository of best practices. It works towards integrating results into European health and social systems.
The Bilbao meeting reviewed progress and advanced pilot actions. Synergies were strengthened with other initiatives such as ABC – ABCs of Mental Health, Migration in Mind (MinM), EASE-Y, and Mind the Mum.
Ane Fullaondo, Biosistemak's Scientific Director, served as an expert on sustainability in the forum discussing MENTOR's results scalability.
Hosting this meeting in Bilbao has highlighted Euskadi's commitment to mental health promotion, facilitating experience exchange and strengthening international collaboration.
