Basque Government Celebrates 90th Anniversary at Bilbao's Carlton Hotel

All members of the Basque Government convened this Tuesday at the Hotel Carlton in Bilbao, the historic seat of Euskadi's first executive, to mark its 90th anniversary.

During the meeting, Lehendakari Imanol Pradales read an institutional declaration appealing for unity, democracy, dialogue, agreement, and self-governance. This call comes amidst a "turbulent world" experiencing an "explosion of populisms."
The Carlton Hotel holds significant historical importance for Euskadi, having served as the headquarters for the first Basque Government, led by José Antonio Agirre.
