Getxo Kirolak has launched a participatory process for the comprehensive renovation of the Fadura fronton building, collecting citizen contributions.

The initiative will be presented on June 25th at 7:00 PM at the TikiToki Zentroa. Getxo Kirolak explained that after the positive results of the structural consolidation work on the building, the next step is to gather public opinion to define the program of uses and needs for its comprehensive future renovation.
This process is part of the Thinking Fadura project, through which efforts are being made to transform the exterior of the Fadura sports center into a public sports park and to renovate the facilities. In this instance, concerning the fronton building, the aim is to follow up on the initial contributions received in 2018 and the needs identified by Getxo Kirolak.
The participatory process will involve three in-person work sessions and is expected to conclude by the end of October. During these sessions, contributions from citizens, users, and sports stakeholders will be collected to define the future uses of the building as broadly as possible.
Those interested in participating must register in advance by sending an email to thinkingfadura@getxo.eus. Registration can also be completed through the Getxo City Council's participation portal: zeugaz.getxo.eus. Once the process is underway, contributions can also be submitted via this website.
