Bilbao Municipal Police arrested last Friday the man accused of murdering his partner on April 1st in Basauri. The arrest was made for an alleged crime of violent robbery and intimidation, for which a judge has ordered his admission to the Basauri Penitentiary Center.

According to the Bilbao City Council, the arrest took place after 11:30 PM on Ribera Street. The detainee is accused of assaulting two men, whom he allegedly struck in the face during the robbery.

Furthermore, a second complaint was filed against him that same Friday for allegedly causing serious injuries to another person. The judicial authority has ordered his imprisonment while investigations continue into the various incidents attributed to him.
