The Ábside Media group shows strong growth in Euskadi, with COPE and Cadena 100 improving their audience figures in the first wave of the EGM survey.

The Ábside Media group has achieved excellent audience results in Euskadi in the first wave of the EGM 2026, with significant growth for its stations COPE and Cadena 100.

The results of the first wave of the General Media Study (EGM) for 2026 have been highly satisfactory for Ábside Media in the Basque Country. The COPE Euskadi station recorded a 27% increase in its audience compared to the previous wave, adding 19,000 new listeners and reaching a total of 89,000 daily listeners from Monday to Friday. This positions it as the generalist Spanish-language station with the largest percentage increase in the region.
In the realm of the group's music radio stations, Cadena 100 Euskadi also celebrates notable growth. Its morning show, ¡Buenos días, Javi y Mar!, presented by Javi Nieves and Mar Amate, has become the most listened-to in all three territories with 53,000 daily listeners. Thanks to this boost, the station is now the second most listened-to music radio in the community, with nearly 100,000 listeners, and has shown the highest increase compared to the previous EGM wave.
Meanwhile, Rock FM, Ábside Media's second music station, is approaching 40,000 daily listeners. The rock station consolidates its loyal listener base, with the province of Bizkaia being the territory where it gathers the largest number of followers.
