The Lufthansa cabin crew strike, called by the UFO union, has resulted in the cancellation of twelve flights at Bilbao Airport, affecting connections with Germany this Friday.

The affected flights included routes from Munich and Frankfurt, as well as their return journeys. Scheduled arrivals from Munich were at 11:10 AM, 5:55 PM, and 11:25 PM, while those from Frankfurt were set for 1:15 PM, 5:00 PM, and 11:10 PM.
This industrial action, initiated by the UFO union, comes amidst three months of stalled negotiations for a new collective bargaining agreement. In total, over 500 flights have been cancelled, impacting approximately 90,000 passengers.
The strike is not limited to the main Lufthansa airline but also extends to Lufthansa CityLine, stemming from a dispute over a staff plan concerning compensation and protections. The company anticipates resuming its regular flight schedule from this Saturday.
