The Ordizia Town Hall has announced the 2026 subsidies, enabling local businesses, hospitality establishments, and companies to receive financial aid for incorporating or adapting their signage, corporate image, and websites into Basque.

The deadline for submitting applications is December 4th. The grants will cover 50% of the cost, with maximum amounts of 300 euros for signage, 120 euros for corporate image, and between 150 and 500 euros for websites, depending on the linguistic option chosen.
Subsidies can be requested for work carried out between December 1, 2025, and November 30, 2026. Through these grants, the Town Hall aims to boost the presence and use of Basque in local economic activity, recognizing the importance of commerce, hospitality, and businesses in citizens' daily lives.
Therefore, the Ordizia Town Hall encourages establishments and companies in the municipality to apply for this call. The presence of Basque is crucial for advancing linguistic normalization and building an increasingly Basque-speaking Ordizia.
All information regarding the call for applications and submission procedures is available in the subsidies section of the Ordizia Town Hall website: www.ordizia.eus. For any queries, interested parties can contact the municipal Basque Language Service.
