The Zumarraga municipal Culture department has announced the suspension of rehearsals for the children's and society drum parades until Thursday, owing to the red alert for the heatwave.

The intense summer heat has impacted the preparations for the festivities in Zumarraga. Specifically, the municipal Culture department has reported that, due to the red alert for the heatwave, rehearsals for the drum parades, for both children and societies, have been suspended until Thursday.
The sole exception will be the distribution of costumes planned for Primary Education students. This event is scheduled for Monday, at 7:00 PM, at the La Salle school. Organizers have emphasized: «Only the costumes will be distributed».
Unless otherwise communicated, rehearsals will resume on Thursday, weather permitting.
