Registration for the Euskal Jaia meal, within the Santa Anastasia festivities in Urretxu, will be open next Tuesday and Wednesday, July 21 and 22. Residents will have two days to complete the registration process easily and at their own pace via the Urretxu City Council website (www.urretxu.eus), where the registration link will be clearly visible.
The registration period will be from July 21 at 10:00 AM to July 22 at 11:00 PM. The order of registration will not grant any preference, and a lottery will be held among all registrants if more than 1,500 people sign up. The lottery will be conducted by drawing a random number, and places will begin to be assigned from that number onwards.
You will be notified by email on July 23 whether you have been assigned a place. The meals will be held in three locations: the Ederrena fronton, the Aldiri sports center, and, if necessary, the Gainzuri covered area. The catering companies Sarayola and Divinus will serve the menus.
At the Ederrena fronton (Sarayola), the adult menu will cost 30 euros and the children's menu, 15 euros. At the Aldiri sports center and Gainzuri pavilion (Divinus), the same prices will apply. The menus will include different dishes for both adults and children, such as Russian salad, stuffed peppers, roasted ribs, and desserts.
You will not be able to choose your preferred dining location, as places will be assigned by lottery. In this lottery, a number will be drawn, and places will be filled from that number onwards, starting with the Ederrena fronton. You can also register on behalf of a group of friends, allowing you to sit together. To do so, one person must fill out the form for the group.
To register, you will need to provide the full name of the registrant (only their own details), their national ID number, phone number, email address, the number of adults and children, and the number and type of special dietary requirements. Payment must be made by bank transfer between July 24 and 26. The City Council will provide the bank account number and the total amount due via email on July 23. The payment should be made by the person who registered, indicating their name in the payment reference.
For those who are not comfortable with technology, assistance will be available in the vicinity or at the cultural center. Going to the cultural center will not provide any additional advantage, as the procedure will be the same for everyone.
