The Errenteria City Council has decided to extend the use of the temporary night parking in Pablo Sorozabal square until the improvement works started on Jaizkibel street are completed. This measure aims to reduce the impact of the ongoing works in the Beraun neighborhood and alleviate pressure on parking spaces.
Initially, the company ID Redes Electricas was carrying out works to renovate the electricity network in the Beraun neighborhood, which temporarily eliminated several parking spaces. To mitigate the resulting inconvenience, the council provided the Pablo Sorozabal square area as a night parking option, primarily affecting works on Norberto Almondoz and Aita Donosti streets.
Now, with the commencement of improvement works on Jaizkibel street, the council has decided to extend the parking availability, as these new works also necessitated the removal of parking spaces. Therefore, this square in Beraun can be used for night parking until the works conclude.
However, there will be an exception: parking will not be permitted from September 3rd to 6th, as the Beraun neighborhood will be celebrating its local festivities, and the square serves as a key venue for these events. Once the festivities are over, the night parking service will be reinstated from 7:00 PM to 10:00 AM.
