From today until April 29th, the town of Ormaiztegi will host a new edition of its Book Week. This initiative aims to make reading the central focus with a varied program designed for audiences of all ages. The proposal is driven by the Town Council and the local reading group.
The program will kick off today at 5:00 PM at the library, with a storytelling session for children and families. This will be the first of several events seeking to encourage reading habits from an early age.
Tomorrow, coinciding with Book Day, the spotlight will be on the students of the San Andrés center, where oral narration sessions will be held among students. One of the highlights of the week will be on Friday at 7:00 PM in the assembly hall, with the presentation of the book Lo nuestro by a local author.
The week will continue on Tuesday, April 28th, with a more reflective proposal: a literary gathering at the library, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, focusing on the book Kontra by another author. The session will be guided by Miriam Luki. The program will conclude on Wednesday, April 29th, at 5:00 PM with another storytelling session, this time led by the Amelie group, aimed at families with children aged 4 and above.
Additionally, throughout the week, a book raffle will be organized among those who participate in the activities.
