Legazpi's latest council meeting saw the approval of two significant motions: one addressing housing social function and vacant properties, and another requesting full integration of the GO07 bus line stop within the municipality.

The housing motion, initially planned for joint presentation by Legazpiko Berdeak + Independientes and EH Bildu, was amended to include a proposal from the PSE-EE. The point requesting 'the reinstatement of the surcharge on the IBI for vacant homes in the 2026 Fiscal Ordinances' was changed to 'analyze the possible reinstatement'. The motion passed unanimously, also receiving a 'yes' vote from the PNV.
Furthermore, the motion regarding the GO07 bus, initially presented by EH Bildu, was withdrawn to be presented jointly with the PNV. This motion urges the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council's Department of Mobility, Tourism, and Territorial Planning to ensure all GO07 line services stop in Legazpi. The parties highlighted that the positive response to services including Legazpi demonstrates a real demand.
They also requested that the aforementioned provincial department actively collaborate with the Legazpi City Council to gather, analyze, and convey user needs and improvement proposals.
