Iñaki Dorronsoro Plazaola, originally from Ataun, has died at the age of 78. He was an engineer by profession and held the presidency of Eusko Ikaskuntza between 2012 and 2020. In addition to his extensive professional and institutional career, he was also a contributor to Goiberri magazine for many years, publishing various articles and contributions. In recent years, he resided in Beasain.
Dorronsoro's body will be at the Goierri Funeral Home in Beasain tomorrow, Monday, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
