The LAB union confirmed that the staff assemblies have ratified the pre-agreement to renew the collective bargaining agreement. The three-year deal includes significant improvements, such as the creation of new jobs at the Beasain and Irun workshops and the guarantee of relief contracts.
Salary increases will be above the CPI, and an annual working time of 1,592.5 hours has been set for all staff. Additionally, a reduction in working hours has been secured for the fourth shift workers, set at 1,584.5 hours, paving the way for future reductions for the rest of the workforce.
The agreement also includes improvements in leave, conditions for business travel, and training measures for learning Basque. The union emphasized that the pressure exerted through recent mobilizations was crucial in changing the employer's stance.
