The Korrontzi group, as part of its extensive tour celebrating the tenth anniversary of the Korrontzi Dantzan project, will visit Aginaga's Old Church this Saturday, April 11, accompanied by Orbeldiko and other dance groups.

The Korrontzi group, a benchmark in traditional Basque music, has announced a major tour to commemorate a decade of its Korrontzi Dantzan project. In total, they will offer 51 concerts throughout the Basque Country and internationally, culminating in a grand event on March 13, 2027, at the BEC in Barakaldo, Bizkaia, where over a hundred dance groups and 1,200 dancers will gather.
During this tour, choreographies created by the Oinkari dance group for Korrontzi's melodies will be presented. However, this time, as a special feature, local dance groups will also participate in each performance, adding greater diversity and color to the show. Thus, under the motto "I would make the world dance if I were Korrontzi," they aim to get the world dancing.
As part of this tour, the event will take place this Saturday, April 11, at Aginaga's Old Church, a familiar stage for the group. In this event, organized by the Aginaga Old Church Meeting Point, members of Orbeldiko from Usurbil, as well as dancers from the Oinkari (Billabona) and Harribil (Orio) dance groups, will perform alongside Korrontzi.
The performance will begin at 7:00 PM, and tickets, priced at 12 euros, can be purchased in advance on the usurbilkultura.eus platform or at the Arrate Hostel in Aginaga. The Korrontzi group has previously participated in the Euskera Gala held at the Old Church, concluding the show with a dance in its last edition on November 29.
