Arm wrestlers from Gipuzkoa have claimed second place in the inter-territorial championship, competing against selections from Araba and Bizkaia, with significant contributions from Denok Danena club athletes.

In the recent inter-territorial championship, both the men's and women's selections from Gipuzkoa achieved second place, coming very close to clinching the title. Arm wrestlers from the Denok Danena club played a prominent role in both categories, securing excellent results.
The men's selection included Denok Danena arm wrestlers Jon Kepa Kortajarena, Stalin Cueva, and Kristian Labaka. To complete the team, one arm wrestler from Zarautz KE and another from the BHT team in Irun also joined. Kristian Labaka achieved the best mark of the entire championship, being crowned champion in the men's category.

"Gipuzkoa was second, very close to being champion. It's a shame that the BHT athlete failed in the 'arrancada' modality."

In the women's category, Lorena Wepsiec, Amaia Blanco, and Andrea Suarez from Denok Danena competed alongside Andrea Garcia from the BHT team in Irun. The selection participated with only four members, as the representative from Zarautz KE was absent. Nevertheless, Gipuzkoa's women's team also secured second place.
The arm wrestlers' next competition is scheduled for April 18 in Zarautz, where the Euskadi U15, U17, and technical championships will be held. Following this, on April 25, the Gipuzkoa Absolute Championship will take place in Irun, which will count towards the second round of the Spanish League.
