The coach will continue to lead Gipuzkoa Basket, following an agreement between both parties to extend his contract for another season. This means he will be in charge of the Donostia basketball team until 2028, having previously been tied until 2027.
He returned to Donostia last summer to take on the role of head coach, after having previously served as an assistant. He has accumulated significant experience in recent years, particularly during his time as an assistant coach at Bilbo Basket. Before that, he also managed teams such as Palencia and Coruña, among others.
