The Urkabustaiz Town Hall is promoting the 'Know and support local' campaign to foster citizen knowledge and support for local businesses.

As part of the campaign's organized actions, the Merkatu Txikia (Small Market) was held, and a voucher campaign ran from June to September. Additionally, presentation videos for 12 local businesses participating in the campaign are being produced for social media visibility. These short videos will introduce the professionals and their offerings. They have started being published on the Urkabustaiz Town Hall's Facebook and Instagram accounts.
The campaign aims to highlight and increase the visibility of local businesses and includes training for these professionals to encourage them to create their own content, such as photographs or short videos, covering recording, editing, and publishing. This training took place from November 2nd to 4th, between 9:30 AM and 1:00 PM, and will include individualized tutoring.
The Department of Employment, Commerce, Tourism, and Provincial Administration of the Provincial Council of Álava has subsidized both the campaign for supporting and revitalizing commerce, as well as the training component. The project is being carried out in collaboration with the association Lan eta Jolas and the Gorbeialdea Rural Area.
