The Basque Government and the Enkarterri Association have signed a collaboration agreement to establish the first regional GAZ service in Euskadi, aimed at providing guidance and support for youth emancipation.

Based in Aranguren, the new service will provide personalized, free assistance to young people aged 16 to 34 living, studying, or working in the region. It focuses on key areas such as housing, employment, and social autonomy, specifically addressing the needs of rural youth in Bizkaia.
The project involves a total investment of 873,000 euros between 2026 and 2028. It incorporates the Enkarterri Gaztea 2025-2028 plan, which includes 27 measures designed to promote youth participation and long-term settlement within their local communities.
