The Zornotza Municipal Euskaltegi has presented its new program for the 2026/2027 academic year, offering Basque language courses at various levels.

Looking ahead to the next academic year, the Zornotza Municipal Euskaltegi will offer Basque language courses at different levels in various modalities. There will be face-to-face courses, self-study, and special courses for adults and parents.
Pre-registration will be open from September 1st to 23rd, both in person at the euskaltegi and online via the municipal website. The new academic year will begin on October 1st and run until June 28th (for self-study, from October 13th to June 16th).
This year, face-to-face courses will be offered for all levels (A1, A2, B1, B2, and C1), in both morning and afternoon sessions. Levels A1, A2, and B1 will have 8 hours of classes per week, and levels B2 and C1 will have 6 hours. A self-study modality will also be available, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with 190 hours per year.
Additionally, special courses have been organized for immigrants (AISA) and parents.
Registration dates and deadlines are set: pre-registration will be open from September 1st to 23rd. Those unable to prove their level will need to take placement tests on September 22nd or 23rd. Lists of admitted students will be published on September 24th, and enrollment will be formalized on September 24th and 25th.
To formalize enrollment, students must present the payment receipt and the student form at the euskaltegi's secretariat, before 1:00 PM on September 25th. The registration number will be considered when choosing group schedules.
Bonuses and special grants will also be available. With the Euskara Bonus for levels A1, A2, and B1, the course price will be only €120. Furthermore, for individuals aged 16-18, the C1 level will have a special grant (€120), and the unemployed can study for €10.
Detailed information and forms are available on the municipal website or at the euskaltegi offices (San Pedro, 5), from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
