Two chess tournaments to be held during San Juan festivities

Two chess tournaments have been organized in Tolosa for the San Juan festivities, one for all ages and another for under-14s, with limited spots available.

Two chess tournaments have been organized in Tolosa for the San Juan festivities, one for players of all ages and another for those under 14. Places for both tournaments are limited.

One of the tournaments will be for all ages, and the other for players under 14 years old. Participant attendance will be confirmed at 9:45 AM, and the tournament will start at 10:00 AM. The competition will be played under the Swiss system, with nine rounds, and the game rhythm will be 5 minutes plus 3 seconds per player.

In the afternoon, the tournament for players under 14 years old will take place. In this case, attendance must be confirmed at 3:45 PM, and the first games will start at 4:00 PM. Youngsters born from 2012 onwards can participate in a six-round tournament. The game rhythm will be 5+3 minutes, the same as in the morning tournament.
To register, one must write to the aforementioned address. Only a few spots remain available in both tournaments.
