The crowdfunding campaign launched by Toki Kultur Elkartea, a cultural association founded in Donostia, to promote leisure and cultural creation in Basque is in its final days.

The recently established Toki Cultural Association in Donostia aims to promote leisure, cultural creation, and community in Basque, with a focus on board games. They currently have two board games in the development phase: 1901 Azken Balea and Latxa. The fundraising to make them a reality has now entered its final stretch on the Itsulapikoa platform.
In fact, only three days remain until the fundraising concludes, and they are very close to reaching their minimum funding goal. Contributions can be made here.

1901 Azken Balea is a semi-cooperative card game inspired by the history of Basque whaling and maritime tradition.

1901 Azken Balea is a semi-cooperative card game inspired by the history of Basque whaling and maritime tradition. Players will be part of a fishing crew, facing the challenge of hunting a whale through collaboration and strategy. The game aims to dynamically present the memory of Basque fishermen and our connection to the sea.
Latxa, on the other hand, is a light and dynamic family game inspired by Basque shepherding. Designed for children and families, this game combines risk management, decision-making, and player interaction, all within a distinct Basque atmosphere and imagery.
