The events of the Spring Mountain Week, organized by the Lagun Onak mountaineering club, are taking place at Soreasu theater and Mendietxe museum, featuring prominent figures from the mountain world.

The talks and audiovisual presentations of the Spring Mountain Week, organized by the Lagun Onak mountaineering club, began on Tuesday at the Mendietxe museum. The first session was led by climber Josu Merino. Yesterday, the brothers Iker and Eneko Pou took the stage at the Soreasu theater, presenting the spectacular narrative they have created under the title 'The Challenge of the Four Elements'.
Today, Thursday, mountaineer Mikel Lizarralde from Eibar will give a talk at 7:00 PM at the Mendietxe museum. Despite being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis eight years ago, Lizarralde has continued to practice sports and maintain his connection with the mountains. He has chronicled his journey since his diagnosis in the 'Zazpi' project and has also produced a documentary with fellow locals Pello Osoro and Maite Arroitajauregi Mursego. This audiovisual work received the award for best film in Basque at the 2024 Mendi Film festival.
