Renovation works at the square in Berriz are nearing completion, with the public space, kiosk, and green areas expected to be fully operational by May 25th, pending final touches near the fronton.

The project has transformed the center of Berriz by balancing historical preservation with modern functionality. Old iron railings have been replaced with ergonomic wooden benches around the oak tree to enhance public comfort.
Urban planning officials noted that the new furniture serves both functional and artistic purposes, with a consistent red color scheme applied to tables and railings to match the town hall's balconies.
The project was designed by the Juntura cooperative and executed by Oarsa with a budget of 673,388 euros, funded through Next Generation grants and participatory budgets.
