The project, with a completion period of 90 calendar days, was initially put out to tender in June with a budget of 267,455.48 euros. The awarded contract represents a saving of 23,188 euros, or 8.67%, compared to the initial estimate.
Izaskun Reyes, councilor for Municipal Building Maintenance, stated, "We continue to advance in the improvement of the Judimendi Civic Center. With this award, we take another step towards renovating changing rooms that required significant intervention, and above all, making them more comfortable, functional, and accessible for all users."
The current changing rooms show signs of wear and tear, have filtration issues, and accessibility deficiencies. The renovation includes redistributing spaces, updating flooring, wall coverings, and sanitary fixtures, as well as improving installations and incorporating adapted elements.
