The Amorebieta-Etxano City Council continues its commitment to active youth participation through the ZUOK program. To give young people a voice and involve them directly in designing services that meet their needs, the initiative is progressing with ZUOK S[h]are, a digital platform for the youth of Amorebieta-Etxano.
This new platform will feature young people as protagonists, proposing leisure plans and gathering information and an agenda on local activities. To this end, a participatory session will be held on Thursday, October 22nd, at 6:00 PM in the Zelaieta Zentroa. Young attendees will have the opportunity to try out the service and offer suggestions for improvement.
The ZUOK S[h]are initiative stems from the ZUOK program launched by the Council in 2024 as part of the Arkala strategy. It originated from a winning idea in a Hackathon held in October 2025. Now, the platform will be presented to young people to gather their contributions and continue building a useful, accessible, and practical digital tool tailored to the reality of Amorebieta-Etxano's youth.
During the October 22nd meeting, participants will learn about the ZUOK S[h]are platform's functionality, share opinions on its content and features, and identify areas for enhancement. Additionally, a small digital scavenger hunt will allow young people to practically use the platform and publish their proposals.
The Council encourages young people from Amorebieta-Etxano to participate in this event to share their opinions, ideas, and suggestions, which are crucial for the platform's development. Registration is open via this link.
