Promoted by Sugaar Musika Elkartea and with the collaboration of the Durango City Council, the Koba Festival will kick off its fifth edition on May 16 at the Plateruena Kultur Aterpea. The organization has begun to unveil the lineup with the confirmation of two prominent bands from the national metal scene: Killus and Injector.
On one hand, Killus has established itself as a benchmark for industrial metal in Spain. With over two decades of experience, the band has developed a unique sound that combines power, electronics, and a meticulously crafted dark aesthetic. Their powerful live performances, characterized by an intense and immersive staging, have led them to perform on numerous stages both nationally and internationally.
On the other hand, Injector represents the more classic and aggressive side of thrash metal. Their proposal is based on speed, precision, and a clear influence of the old school sound, elements reflected in energetic live shows with strong audience connection. In recent years, the band has experienced significant growth within the national circuit.
The presence of both bands reinforces Koba Festival's commitment to offering a varied metal program, covering everything from contemporary sounds to more traditional and direct proposals. With this first lineup announcement, Koba is gearing up for an edition that will once again position Durango as a reference point for metal enthusiasts.
