Euskalmet: Clearings expected on Thursday, but north wind and drizzle to persist

Euskalmet forecasts that while the day will start cloudy, clearings will appear in the afternoon and temperatures will remain stable.

According to the Basque meteorological agency Euskalmet, Thursday, June 29th, will begin with clouds, but clearings will gradually open up in the afternoon, especially in Álava.

Low clouds will dominate the first part of the day, with possible drizzle in the north. However, as the day progresses, clearings will increase, and the afternoon is expected to be quite bright. Sunny conditions are also anticipated in the south during the morning.
A north wind will be present, with little change in temperatures. In the capitals, minimum temperatures are forecast at 18 degrees in Bayonne, 19 in Bilbao, 18 in San Sebastián, 15 in Vitoria-Gasteiz, and 17 in Pamplona. Maximums will reach 25, 25, 24, 24, and 27 degrees, respectively.
Along the coast, a north wind will blow at force 3, causing slight choppiness. The northwest swell will generate waves of around 0.5 meters, increasing to approximately 1.5 meters in the latter half of the day. High tides will occur at 05:09 and 17:24, with low tides at 11:09 and 23:34. The water temperature is 24 degrees, and visibility will range between four and ten kilometers.
In the Cantabrian region, light to moderate rain is expected, with potential for heavier showers in some areas early in the morning. It will tend to clear up in the afternoon. Elsewhere, light rain may occur intermittently during the first part of the day. A weak north/northeast wind will blow, with moderate gusts in Álava in the afternoon. Minimum temperatures will drop slightly, measured at the end of the day. Maximum temperatures will show little change or increase slightly.
