The Garai Council has repaired and painted ditches on the road to Emaldia, and plans further interventions in the coming weeks.

The Garai Council has undertaken ditch repair and painting work on the road leading to Emaldia. The council anticipates carrying out more interventions in the upcoming weeks, including repairing roadside ditches in a section of Aiarza and constructing new channels on the road from San Juan to Urien.
Additionally, the road providing access to the Etxeitarra area will be widened to facilitate vehicle crossings and pedestrian passage. The council emphasized that this measure will improve resident safety, particularly during the winter months.
This is not the first time the Garai Council has conducted such maintenance and repair work. Throughout the current term, it has allocated 174,381 euros to road repairs.
Previously, the road to Berato was fully repaired, including tidied ditches, asphalt resurfacing, and the installation of protective barriers. Furthermore, asphalt work and concrete slab repairs were carried out on a section of the road leading to Mount Oiz.
