The Durango City Council has announced the provisional list of admitted, excluded, and pending rectification applications for the allocation of 16 municipal social rental homes in the San Fausto neighborhood, with a period for submitting documentation or correcting errors open until May 15.

This process, which began last February, allows interested parties to complete the necessary procedures before the definitive list of applications is published. Once this deadline passes, the final list of admitted and excluded applications will be released.
The allocation of these homes is based on criteria of social need and the promotion of emancipation. Specifically, eight homes are reserved for young people under 35, while the remaining eight are distributed among other quotas. Applications are evaluated using a scoring system that considers income, the number of cohabiting individuals, membership in groups with special needs, and seniority in the Registry of Applicants.
The economic conditions stipulate that the rental price is linked to the income of the cohabiting units, ensuring that the cost is adjusted to each household's economic capacity. The homes are located at Undatorre street nº 8 and Jesús María Pedrosa street nº 7, offering one or two bedrooms, with areas ranging from 41 to 63 square meters, and capacity for 1 to 4 people. All units also include a storage room or an associated parking space.
Furthermore, these homes must be used as a habitual and permanent residence, with mandatory registration, and cannot be used as a second residence or transferred or rented to third parties without express authorization from the City Council. The contractual regime foresees an initial duration of one year, with the possibility of extension up to a maximum of five years, and an amount that cannot exceed 30% of the weighted annual income of the titleholders.
