In this edition, the Council has distributed a total of 25,314 euros among 19 beneficiaries, after evaluating the 23 applications submitted. The average aid granted stands at 1,332.32 euros, in a context where the declared average rent reaches 686 euros.
The subsidies are aimed at young people between 18 and 35 years old who have lived under a rental regime during 2025 and cover between 30% and 50% of the monthly rent, with a limit of 850 euros.
The objective of this program is to alleviate the economic difficulties faced by young people when emancipating, offering support adapted to their income level and personal situation. The initiative is part of municipal housing access policies, which is one of the main challenges for this group.
Since its launch, Gazte Alokairuak has maintained continuity over time, with an accumulated investment of 108,996 euros in the last four years. In 2023, 29,437 euros were granted to 22 applicants, with an average aid of 1,338 euros. A year later, in 2024, the total amount rose to 29,578.20 euros for 19 people, with an average of 1,556 euros. In 2025, the aid reached 23,646 euros distributed among 21 beneficiaries, with an average of 1,126 euros.
These figures reflect sustained demand and consolidate the program as a key support tool to promote youth emancipation in Durango.
