The municipal fronton Gurea in Berriz marked its first anniversary with a special festival featuring both bertsolaris (Basque singers) and pelota matches.

The Gurea municipal fronton in Berriz celebrated its first anniversary last Friday with a festival that combined bertsolaris and pelota. The event drew a large crowd of fans to the court.

Pelota players also competed. In the women's match, Goiuri Zabaleta and Itxaso Erasun (blue) defeated Laia Salsamendi and Nora Mendizabal (red) with a score of 22-14.
