The Amorebieta-Etxano health center has opened a walk-in vaccination point for the flu, available until November 1st, from Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Any person over six months of age can go directly to receive the vaccine without needing to book an appointment. This initiative is part of a network of 12 vaccination points promoted by the Basque Government's Department of Health and Osakidetza, aiming to facilitate access to vaccination and strengthen the prevention of respiratory illnesses.
This option will also facilitate childhood vaccination, as families can attend directly with their children over six months old. Thus, the service will complement the childhood flu vaccination campaign that began on September 28th in health centers.
In addition to the flu vaccine, the Amorebieta-Etxano vaccination point will also offer the COVID-19 vaccine to individuals aged 70 and over, and to those aged 65 and over if requested. Both vaccines can be administered in the same visit.
