Usurbil's festivals to begin Thursday, honoring Zubieta and Usurbil F.T.

Five days of celebrations will kick off on July 1st with a chupinazo and soka-dantza event.

Usurbil's festivals will commence on July 1st, immersing the town in five days of celebrations. The official event is tomorrow at 7:00 PM in front of the town hall, with Zubieta Lanbide Eskola and Usurbil F.T. being honored this year.

The festivals of Usurbil will officially begin tomorrow afternoon, July 1st, at 7:00 PM in front of the town hall. The town will immerse itself in five days of celebrations. This year, Zubieta Lanbide Eskola and Usurbil F.T. will receive the honor, as both are celebrating their 50th anniversaries.
Two main events will mark the start of the festivities: tomorrow's chupinazo (opening rocket) and the events on Thursday, the main festival day. As every year, municipal representatives will perform the traditional soka-dantza, and this year, the two chupinazo honorees have been invited to participate.
The lively dance performance will take place in the Joxe Martin Sagardia square on Thursday at noon, 12:00 PM. Flowers and broth will be distributed during the event. Afterwards, the local txistularis from the Triku group will parade through the streets to liven up the festivities.

Tribute to 50 years of history, effort, commitment, and friendship at the Usurbil F.T. half-century festival

As part of the program, on Thursday, Esnadeia will perform with txistularis at 9:00 AM, and at 11:00 AM there will be txistularis and flower distribution in Egurtzegin. At noon, 12:00 PM, the soka-dantza and flower and broth distribution will take place in Joxe Martin Sagardia square, followed by a street parade with the Triku group.
