The Usurbil Sports Club has concluded a successful season, with the first team maintaining its national category and youth teams achieving significant successes, in the first year of the new board's management.

The club's new board of directors has made a very positive assessment at the end of the season. After an initial adaptation phase to get to know the club's daily operations and dynamics, the board has received support from many people and has thanked the previous managers for the solid club they have bequeathed.
One of the main achievements this season has been the men's first team maintaining its position in the 1st National Division. They emphasized that this category is very demanding both athletically and organizationally, and that the team has demonstrated its ability to compete. They added that the first team's success has a direct impact on the youth academy, providing role models for young players and generating motivation to play at a high level.

"A club is not just about weekend matches or training sessions; it is also part of the town's life. The goal of the Beer Fair was that: to create a good atmosphere, bring people together, and strengthen the community around the club."

The youth teams have also had an excellent season. The male juniors were Gipuzkoa runners-up, the male cadets were Gipuzkoa champions and third in Euskadi, and both female cadet teams also had a good year, one being Gipuzkoa Cup champions and the other runners-up. They stated that these results reflect many years of work within the club, and that seeing players grow and valuing a good team atmosphere is more important than the results.
This weekend, the male cadets will compete in the Spanish Championship in Pamplona, facing Barça. It is expected to be a unique experience, and a great honor for a small town like Usurbil to participate in such a competition. The male juniors will also play in the promotion phase to the Basque League, which would be a significant step for the club.
Looking ahead, the club faces numerous challenges, including continuing to strengthen the youth academy, attracting more coaches and volunteers, and promoting women's handball. They also indicated that the debate about the project to form a single club in the town is open, and emphasized that such projects require time, tranquility, and consensus.
