In Lasarte-Oria, women associates from local gastronomic societies held their second annual meeting on the 25th, replicating the success of the previous edition. This pioneering event, which was very well received at its debut last year, was organized on this occasion by the women of the Semblante Andaluz society and saw participation from women of all societies in the municipality.
The day began in one of the societies, where several women danced the agurra, accompanied by the music of the txistulari Lierni Arozena. Following this, Maddi Lasa and Araitz Ramos from Earra Bertso Eskola recited bertsos. Subsequently, a representative from the Casa de Extremadura read a moving text, stating that the first meeting was "historic," but in her opinion, what was truly "historic" was repeating the event.

After the launch of the chupinazo, they continued dancing and enjoying the rhythm of the Arranopola txaranga. In a lively parade, they moved from Zumaburu towards the center, to the Arrieskalleta society, singing and dancing. Along the way, they tasted mushroom and Russian salad pintxos. Later, they moved to the Xirimiri society, where the menu included gildas and the txaranga played inside the venue, creating an exceptional atmosphere.
Before the parade concluded, a group photo was taken at the Semblante Andaluz society in Atsobakar. Prior to lunch, Bea Egizabal delivered an entertaining monologue, recalling memorable moments from the parade and celebrating the increase in the number of women associates. The meal, prepared by the chefs of Semblante Andaluz, consisted of delicious Andalusian dishes, and in the afternoon, they enjoyed musical bingo.
Unlike the previous year, this time the participants wore a purple scarf with the slogan "Socias bat eginda" (Associates united), affirming the nature of the gathering. The Palomo Linares society has announced that they will be in charge of organizing the next edition.
