The Lezo City Council has started renovation works on the Lezoaundi Zuhaizti play area. The goal is to reorganize the space and offer new opportunities for children to play and be in contact with nature.
This intervention is part of the process to renew Lezo's park network. The objective of this process is to create more inclusive and diverse leisure and play spaces, ensure the well-being of children and young people, and build social spaces to foster relationships among citizens of different generations.
The works will involve adapting the area's ground and play elements. The current flooring will be prepared, grassy areas will be adapted, and new surfaces will be installed, among other improvements.
Furthermore, the project will expand options for rest and play. This includes adapting the zipline and the ground beneath it, creating new areas with play elements, and installing a bouldering wall on the area's wall. Additionally, the lawn will be adapted, and wooden structures for rest, as well as a wooden platform, will be created.
The project's budget is 48,339.50 euros, including VAT. The works will last for six weeks, during which the play area will be closed to ensure safety.
