Residents of Lezo have called for a second assembly for the upcoming Thursday, September 3rd, fed up with fires and the damages resulting from activities at the port of Pasaia. The citizens held a first assembly yesterday and have begun organizing mobilizations in Lezo, Pasaia, and surrounding towns to express their outrage over the harm that port operations cause to health and the environment.
The assembly will be open, followed by a noisy march through the town's streets. They will take to the streets under the slogans "Health is a right" and "No dirty port" to present their demands.
