Two txupinazo launches officially marked the beginning of the Santio Jaiak in Astigarraga yesterday, with events for both children and the general public.

The town of Astigarraga was filled with a festive atmosphere yesterday with the start of the Santio Jaiak. Following tradition, two txupinazos were held during the day: one at noon, specially organized for children, and the official ceremony in the afternoon.
The midday mini txupinazo was organized by the leisure group Xaguxar and took place on the Town Hall balcony. With bright sunshine, children enjoyed water, balloons, and candy, warming up the atmosphere for the evening celebration. The opening speech was also read during this event.
In the afternoon, at seven o'clock, the official txupinazo was launched. This year's opening speakers were Juantxo Zuaznabar and Periko Garmendia. The festivities officially began in front of a town square full of Astigarraga residents, marking an excellent start to the celebration.
