The Olaso Dorrea Foundation is the promoter of the Telesforo Monzon Basque citizenship laboratory initiative. Within this initiative, and together with the Parte Hartuz research group from the University of the Basque Country, the Foundation is undertaking the Naziometroa, Basque Sovereignty Barometer research.
The Naziometroa will provide a broader understanding of the desires and aspirations of the Basque citizens and will enable the Basque public institutions to carry out their intervention and action plans with greater precision and knowledge, including at the municipal level.
The continuation of the economic contribution to carry out the Naziometroa initiative was approved in the September Ordinary Plenary Session, with a vote in favor from EH Bildu and the abstention of EAJ. The City Council approved the first agreement including this subsidy in 2021. This year, a subsidy of 3,500 euros will also be granted.
