Sunahi Huegun has won the 800-meter race at the Gipuzkoa Absolute Athletics Championship, held at the outdoor track in Mojategi (Arrasate). She finished with a time of 1:51.92, improving her personal best. Notably, Aitor Iturralde acted as a pacemaker for the first 400 meters of the race before withdrawing.
In other results, Naroa Azcue secured a silver medal in the 400-meter hurdles, clocking 1:05.28. Djiara Ndao finished third in the 400-meter race with a time of 57.04, and Lucia Parada came in fifth at 57.66. Additionally, Djiara competed with Real Sociedad in the 4x100 relay, earning third place with a time of 48.43.
Xare Elortza participated in the 1500-meter race, finishing sixth with a time of 5:27.48, also surpassing her personal best. Julene Iturriotz was ninth in the 800-meter distance, with a time of 2:30.14, also improving her personal best.
