Based on a book published a decade ago, the history and evolution of Oñati Abesbatza were analyzed in a lecture given in the town, recalling the choir's past and present activities.

During the lecture, the extensive trajectory of Oñati Abesbatza was reviewed, taking a book as its starting point. It highlighted the performances offered by the choir over the years in various towns, its participation in the Tolosa competition, and its connection with Father Madina and his compositions. Furthermore, the achievements of the last decade and the group's evolution were also addressed.
The event began with the screening of a short video about the choir, and around sixty people gathered to listen to the talk. The choir began its anniversary celebrations with the Christmas concert on December 20. Subsequently, in March, they offered the concert titled Bakoren izpiritutik together with the Suhar Choir, and also held an exchange concert with Ibaiertzekin.

"The events so far have been well received, and the choir itself is in a healthy state."
