The old clinic in Aretxabaleta will be renovated to accommodate a physical activity guidance service and a space for seniors, as part of the POBA project.

In Aretxabaleta, renovation work has begun on the old clinic to create a new health and well-being center for citizens. As part of the POBA project, the building will be adapted for two main uses: a physical activity guidance service and a space for seniors.
One part of the building will house a service aimed at citizens with sedentary lifestyles. Anyone wishing to start physical activity can visit to receive advice, guidance, and support from a physical activity professional, with the goal of integrating this habit into their daily routine. The core of the service will be the innovative David Health Solution methodology, which will diagnose the citizen's functional capacity to promote improvements in their strength, mobility, and coordination.
The other part of the building will also feature a dedicated space for the town's seniors. Members of the Basotxo association will be able to carry out their daily activities there, and older adults will have their own place for social interaction.
An announcement will be made once the works are completed and the service is ready to launch.
